BOSTON - The Northeastern Huskies (28-7) travel to Storrs, Connecticut this Tuesday for a meeting with the #15 UConn Huskies (26-9) at Elliot Ballpark for a midweek non-conference match up. The contest set is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. and will stream on UConn+.

- MID-MAJOR HUSKY BATTLE: The Northeastern Huskies and the UConn Huskies both come into the week in the top 20 of the Mid Major Power Rankings by 11PointSeven. Northeastern and UConn split their season series last season, with both away teams taking victories (UConn won in extras at Friedman, 5-2, NU won at Elliot, 9-4). All-time Northeastern holds a 19-60-1 record against their Husky counterparts from Connecticut. UConn comes into the week ranked #15 by D1Baseball and #28 by College Baseball News. Northeastern holds a 7-6 record against ranked clubs in the last three seasons, going 1-0 this season against ranked opponents.
- HIGH MARKS: Northeastern baseball currently ranks in the top 25 of 16 statistical categories in the NCAA, shining both offensively and defensively just over midway through the season. Notably, Northeastern ranks top 10 in stolen bases (89, 8th), walks and hits per inning pitched (1.24, 10th), and walks allowed per nine innings (2.92, 7th).
- MILESTONE REACHED: With Alex Lane's home run on Sunday, April 16th at Stony Brook, Northeastern has hit 60 home runs as a team this season. That ties a program record set in the 2008 season. The Huskies' last championship season, 2021, saw a total of 54 home runs in 48 games played.
