Aidan McDonough, Devon Levi Named CCM/AHCA All-Americans

BOSTON – Northeastern men's hockey's Aidan McDonough and Devon Levi have been named as CCM/AHCA Hockey Division I First Team East All-Americans for their performances on the ice in the 2022-23 season.
 
McDonough and Levi were named to the first team in consecutive years, becoming the first to do so since Bruce Racine (1987, 1988).
 
Aidan McDonough – Sr. – Forward - First Team East All-American
  • Senior captain Aidan McDonough led the Huskies with 20 goals and 38 points in 34 games played while adding 18 assists to the scoresheet.
  • He also led the Hockey East conference in goals (14), power-play goals (6), and posted 88 shots, the second-best mark in the league.
  • McDonough tallied the game-winning shootout goal to help the Huskies to their eighth Beanpot title overall, and their fourth in the last five years.
  • He finished as the active NCAA career leader in both goals (66) and power-play goals (29).
  • Additionally, he was named a Hockey East First Team All-Star and a New England Division I All-Star.
  • McDonough, who signed a two-year, entry level contract with the Vancouver Canucks, made his debut on March 26 and recorded his first NHL goal in his second career game.
Devon Levi – Jr. - Goaltender - First Team East All-American
  • Devon Levi posted an incredible final season of play for the Huskies, posting a .933 save percentage, a 2.24 goals against average, and a 17-12-5 record in net with six shutouts.
  • His save percentage ranked first in the NCAA this season. Additionally, his 1,183 saves were third overall.
  • He led the Hockey East conference in six categories to conclude the season: goals against average (1.81), save percentage (.947), shutouts (6), saves (753), minutes played (1392:53) and wins (14 / T-1st).
  • He also posted 30+ saves in 20 outings, including six 40+ save performances and a season-high 54 saves against Providence College.
  • He also named the Mike Richter Award recipient, Hockey East Player of the Year, Goaltender of the Year, a First Team All-Star, Hobey Baker Top-10 finalist, Beanpot Tournament MVP, and Eberly Award recipient.
  • Most recently, Levi signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres and made his debut on March 31, claiming his first NHL victory.
