Shaw Tabbed CAA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Coach of the Year

RICHMOND – Northeastern track & field head coach Tramaine Shaw was named CAA Outdoor Men's Track & Field Coach of the Year, announced by the league on Wednesday.

Shaw has now collected the award five times (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023) during her tenure on Huntington Avenue. This also marks the eighth-straight year that a Northeastern track & field head coach has been tabbed Men's Coach of the Year.

The Huskies had another stellar season with Shaw at the helm, which included Northeastern winning its eighth-straight CAA outdoor title, a conference record. Along the way, the Huskies recorded 80 personal-bests, 30 top-ten program marks all-time, and three school records.

The Huskies also had five men's student-athletes advance to the NCAA East Preliminaries, highlighted by sophomore Ethan Exilhomme advancement to the NCAA Championships in the 110mH. Exilhomme had a breakout season on the track, finishing 17th nationally and earning Honorable Mention All-American honors.
