BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team released its full schedule for the 2023-24 season on Tuesday, featuring non-conference matchups with ACC powerhouse Syracuse, local opponents such as Stonehill, UMass, Boston College, Merrimack, Holy Cross, Boston University, and hosting 2022-23 CAA Champion Monmouth.
The Huskies are coming off a stellar 2022-23 season in which the team won a program-record 13 league games en route to a share of the CAA Regular Season title, the first in program history. With
Priscilla Edwards-Lloyd at the helm, this season's roster features returners such as
Derin Erdogan (All-CAA First Team),
Deja Bristol (program's first-ever CAA Sixth Player of the Year), and
Gemima Motema (All-CAA Third Team/All-Defensive Team).
Northeastern will begin the season with a quick trip to North Easton to face Stonehill on November 6. Northeastern will then host UMass in its home opener on November 9 at 7 p.m.

After hosting UMass, in non-conference play the Huskies will face Boston College (Nov. 12), and then return home to face Merrimack (Nov. 16), and Wagner (Nov. 21). Four of the five remaining games in non-conference action will be on the road, which includes tests against strong opponents in Columbia (Nov. 25), and Syracuse (Dec.4). Northeastern will then host rival Boston University on December 22.
Conference play begins at home, with the Huskies hosting Delaware on January 5 at 7 p.m. Northeastern will then hit the road to face Drexel (Jan. 7) and UNCW (Jan. 12).
After a trip to UNCW, three of the next four games will be at home, which features matchups with Hofstra (Jan. 14), Charleston (Jan. 21), and new CAA opponent Campbell (Jan. 28).
Other notable games include rematches of the CAA semifinals and quarterfinals, the Huskies will host the reigning conference champion in Monmouth (Feb. 9) and Stony Brook (Feb. 11). Northeastern closes out the regular season on March 9 at Towson.

All 14 teams will qualify for the 2024 CAA Women's Basketball Championship to be played March 13-17 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
