AMESBURY, Mass. — For the third time this season, sophomore Jack Williams has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week, marking his fourth career honor from the league.
 
Williams recorded a five-point weekend en route to helping the Huskies sweep the Merrimack College Warriors. The 5-11 forward tallied two goals and one assist in a 5-3 win on Friday night, before adding two assists on in Saturday night's 4-1 win, including the primary helper on the game-winning goal. Additionally, the assistant captain finished the seven shots, including a team-high five in game one, two blocks, 23 faceoffs win and was plus-four.
 
The Maine native currently leads all Northeastern skaters with 27 points on the season from 12 goals and a team-high 15 assists. He is also one of two Huskies to record at least one point in every win this season.
 
Williams and the Huskies are back on home ice tomorrow night (Jan. 30) against the No. 3 Boston University Terriers.
