Huskies Wrap Head Of The Charles Weekend

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Northeastern women's rowing team wrapped the Head of the Charles weekend this Sunday afternoon. The Huskies had four boats compete over the course of two days.

The event features a three-mile course that travels through Cambridge and features an elite field of the world's best collegiate and club programs.

On Saturday, NU saw three boats in action with one Club 4+ and two Club 8+ lineups on the water. The Club 4+ kicked off the weekend with a time of 19:17.631 to finish 20th overall. The Club 8+ boats finished with the A lineup clocking a time of 17:04.356 for 11th place and the B lineup finishing with a time of 17:19.485 for 14th place.
On the final day of the event, in the Women's Championship Eights division, Northeastern raced to a 24th place finish, as Heather Taylor stroked NU to a time of 16:33.814.

Northeastern concludes their fall slate at the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 9.
