THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- WELCOME BACK YIRSY – Sophomore guard Yirsy Quéliz made her season debut in Thursday's game against New Hampshire. Quéliz had a strong night, tallying 11 points, six of which came from deep. The La Vega, Dominican Republic native also recorded 10 of her points in the second half.
- SCOUTING HARVARD – The Crimson has started the season 4-1 with two of its four wins coming against Power Five opponents in No. 25 Indiana and Boston College. After their historic victory over nationally ranked Indiana, the Crimson received votes in week two of the AP Top 25 poll. Harvard is paced by Harmoni Turner, who was tabbed to the 2025 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch List. Turner is averaging 25.0 points per game, and had a historic night with a program record for single-game scoring with a 41-point and 10 rebound double-double performance against Boston College.
- WAGNER REWIND – Last season against the Seahawks, the Huskies won by a score of 63-46. In the victory, Maddie Vizza had a masterful three-point shooting display for Northeastern, accounting for seven of the team's 11 makes from deep. The senior's seven threes tied a career-high and a program record. Vizza last reached the milestone in 2021, when she became the first NU freshman to hit seven or more threes in a game for the Huskies.
After Harvard and Wagner, the Huskies will head to LIU on Sunday, December 1. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.
