Hockey Heads To Merrimack For Saturday Tilt

BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern men's hockey team will play their last game of the fall semester this Saturday (Dec. 14) as the hit the road for a contest with the Merrimack Warriors. The game will be the third time the Huskies will be streamed on NESN.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. SCOUTING REPORT: Against the Warriors, the Huskies are 71-44-12 overall and, in their last 20 outings, are 16-2-2 and outscored Merrimack 75-27. During their careers in the Northeastern sweater, three Huskies have recorded five or more points against Merrimack. Leading the way is sophomore Dylan Hryckowian with seven points from one goal and six assists. Following Hryckowian is juniors Cam Lund and Jack Williams each with five points from two goals and three assists.
  2. CAM(ERA) READY: Assistant captain Cam Lund led all Hockey East skaters in scoring over the weekend, recording a league-high five points from two goals and three assists, including the game winner against Brown. Lund now has nine points in four consecutive games, for a 2.25 points per game, and has tallied a goal in three straight games. 
  3. IN IT TO VIN IT: Assistant captain Vinny Borgesi tied for the league high among all defensemen with four points over the weekend, recording one goal and three assists, including an assist on the game winner against Brown. He finished the weekend with six shots on goal, tying for a game-high four shots against UNH. The Pennsylvania native currently has five points (1g, 4a) in three games and ranks among the top-20 defensemen in the country with 11 assists and 13 points.
