Huskies Set To Host Stonehill, Holy Cross

BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team (1-6) is set to close out its non-conference slate with two home games, hosting Stonehill (3-7) in its annual BPS game on Wednesday, December 18 at 11 a.m., and then Holy Cross (5-4) on Saturday, December 21 at 1 p.m. Both games will stream on NESN & FloCollege.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. LAST TIME OUT – Abby Jegede tallied a career-high 20 points, but the Huskies fell to the UMass Minutewomen on December 5 at the Mullins Center. Jegede had a stellar night, shooting 6-of-11 from the floor, and 2-of-2 from deep. Camille Clement also notched double digits for the Huskies will 12 points, all of which came from three.
  2. LAST TIME OUT AGAINST STONEHILL – The Huskies and Skyhawks last faced on November 6, 2023, and NU won by a score of 73-61. With the win, head coach Priscilla Edwards-Lloyd tallied her first career victory. The Huskies edged Stonehill in paint points (40-24) and shot 49.2% overall (30-of-61).
  3. SCOUTING HOLY CROSS – The Crusaders are coming off a 73-56 victory over Stony Brook on Sunday, December 8. In the win, Holy Cross had four tally double-digits, paced by Simone Foreman with a team-high 21 points and five rebounds. The Crusaders are averaging 62.8 points per game, and Foreman leads the squad averaging 14.1 points per game.
After Stonehill and Holy Cross, the Huskies will kick off their CAA slate at home against Stony Brook on Friday, January 3. Tip-off is slated for 3 p.m.
