BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team kicks off conference play this weekend, beginning on Friday afternoon against Stony Brook (3 p.m.) on Solomon Court. The Huskies will then travel to Drexel for a 2 p.m. tip in Philadelphia on Sunday. Both games will be streamed on FloCollege, while Friday's contest will the Seawolves will also air on NESN+.

1. SERIES HISTORY AGAINST THIS WEEKEND'S OPPONENTS
The Huskies, who are 5-6 all-time against Stony Brook, have gone 2-1 against the Seawolves since Stony Brook joined the CAA in 2022-23, including a 1-1 mark on Solomon Court. In last season's meeting in Boston,
Maddie Vizza recorded a career-high three assists.

Drexel owns a 26-19 lead in the all-time series against Northeastern, with the Huskies earning victories in two of the last three meetings.

2. LAST TIME OUT
Yirsy Quéliz and Natalie Larrañaga combined to score 29 total points - 78.4 percent of Northeastern's points - but the Huskies fell to Holy Cross at home on Dec. 21. The Huskies had two players score in double figures, led by Quéliz, who had 15 points and four assists. Larrañaga tacked on 14 points and three steals off the bench andÂ

3. LARRAÑAGA'S CAREER DAY
Redshirt junior Natalie Larrañaga had a career day for the Huskies on Dec. 21 against Holy Cross, scoring 14 points as one of two players in double figures. Larrañaga was 5-of-15 from the field in 30 minutes off the bench, and added four rebounds and a career-high three steals.

4. CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR WITH THE HUSKIES
For Friday's game, fans who present a valid high school or college ID at the main entrance to Solomon Court will receive two complimentary tickets to the game.

5. PARKING FOR HOME GAMES AT MATTHEWS ARENA
Fans attending Athletic events at Solomon Court are able to park in the Columbus Avenue Garage during the event free of charge. The garage is open to fans two (2) hours prior to game time. From Columbus Garage fans can access Solomon Court by taking the footbridge over the MBTA tracks. Fans that park in Columbus Garage are asked to exit the garage no later than one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game.
Metered parking is also available on streets around the building.
