STORRS, Conn. — Freshman Madison Phillips kicked off the 2024-25 Indoor season for the Northeastern women's track and field team in Thursday's UConn Husky Challenge Pentathlon. Phillips was the lone Husky to compete at the Hugh S. Greer Fieldhouse.
- The meet started with the 60m Hurdles, where the East Quogue, N.Y. native finished eighth with a 9.99 mark.
- In the High Jump event, she reached 1.41 meters to earn seventh place. She then finished fifth in the Shot Put after reaching a length of 9.89m.
- Phillips concluded the afternoon with ninth-place finishes in the Long Jump (4.90) and the 800m (2:47.52).
The Huskies continue with action at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, hosted by Boston University at the BU Track and Tennis Center, on Friday, Dec. 7, starting at 10 a.m.
