Northeastern Set To Close Home Slate Against North Carolina A&T, Hampton

BOSTON – The Northeastern women's basketball team (8-15, 4-10 CAA) is set for its last two home games of the season, hosting North Carolina A&T (17-8, 11-3 CAA) on Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m., and then Hampton (2-22, 2-12 CAA) for Senior Day on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. Both games will stream on FloHoops.
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. LAST TIME OUT VS. A&T – Northeastern and North Carolina A&T last met in Greensboro on February 4, with the Aggies winning by a score of 72-49. Deja Bristol had a strong game for the Huskies, tallying a team-high 13 points and nine rebounds. Derin Erdogan also headlined Northeastern with 12 points and five rebounds.
  2. SCOUTING HAMPTON – The Lady Pirates are coming off a 66-58 loss to William & Mary on Sunday. Hampton is averaging 55.0 points per game, and senior Camryn Hill paces the offense, averaging 14.5 points per game. Hill has tallied double-digit points in 17 games so far this season.
  3. THANK YOU, SENIORS – Prior to Sunday's game the Huskies will honor Jaelyn Batts, Derin Erdogan, Maddie Vizza, Deja Bristol, and Halle Idowu for their contributions to the program. 
After North Carolina A&T and Hampton, the Huskies will close out the regular season on road at William & Mary (March 7), and Towson (March 9).
