Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and
Jack Williams are two of 26 semifinalists for the 72nd Walter Brown Award.
The Walter Brown Award is the nation's oldest nationally recognized college hockey honor, established in 1953, awarded to the best American-born college hockey player in New England.
Gunnarwolfe Fontaine - Senior - Forward – Assistant Captain
- Has six goals and 16 assists so far this season, including two game-winning goals and two power-play tallies.
- Most recently, recorded the game-winning overtime goal to send the Huskies to their sixth straight Beanpot championship game.
- Has recorded eight points, from two goals and six assists, in five consecutive games.
Jack Williams - Sophomore - Forward - Assistant Captain
- Leads the team with 30 points from 14 goals and 16 assists, averaging a 1.25 points per game.
- Has recorded nine multiple-point games, including a career-high four points, from two goals and two assists, in a 9-2 win over RPI.
- Earned Hockey East Player of the Week honors three times this season.
