DURHAM, N.H.—  Fifth year netminder
Gwyneth Philips of the Northeastern women's hockey team has been recognized as a CCM/AHCA First Team All-American as announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA).

Philips is now a two-time First Team All-American and is the only returning player this season to be honored as a First Teamer in back-to-back years. This marks the sixth-straight season that the Huskies have at least one All-American.

The Athens, Ohio native led all goaltenders nationally with a .955 save percentage and finished her NCAA career with a .958 save percentage, the highest mark in NCAA history. Philips posted a 1.17 GAA this season, the third-best mark nationally playing in at least 14 more games than two goalies above her. She finished her career with a .96 GAA, the second lowest career GAA in NCAA history.

Philips posted six shutouts and 23 wins during the 2023-24 season. She allowed one goal or less in 27 of her 37 starts this year and in 73 of her 94 career games played. She was the lone goaltender named a Top-10 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award finalist. Additionally, she earned Hockey East First Team All-Star honors and was the Hockey East Goaltender of the Year for the second-straight season. Â
