Huskies Kick Off Spring Slate At Doc Hosea Invite

BOSTON — The Northeastern women's rowing team opens the spring season at the Doc Hosea Invitational on Saturday, March 30. Races are set to begin at 8 a.m. on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. FALL RECAP: Northeastern is looking to build off their success in the fall at the Head of the Charles and Foot of the Charles regattas. Northeastern's fall season was highlighted by a first-place finish from the first varsity eight at the Foot of the Charles, clocking a final time of 14:17.20.
  2. WHAT'S UP DOC?: The Huskies kick off their spring season at the Doc Hosea Invite for the third year in a row. The Huskies will have six boats racing, four eights and two fours. The Orange Challenge Cup will be contested between the varsity 8's from Northeastern and Penn, while the Doc Hosea Trophy will be awarded to the school with the overall highest point total.
  3. A SPRING IN OUR STEP: Northeastern is on the hunt to defend its nine-straight CAA titles this spring. In addition to back-to-back weekends on the Charles in April, the Huskies' spring slate features three road races.
