Huskies Complete Races Against BU, Radcliffe & Dartmouth

BOSTON — The Northeastern women's rowing team made their spring debut on the Charles River against Boston University, Radcliffe, and Dartmouth on Saturday morning.
  • In the first varsity eight, stroked by Isla Bathgate, Northeastern came in second place with a time of 6:48.80, just 1.2 seconds behind Radcliffe.
  • The Huskies' varsity four placed second, edging out Boston University and Dartmouth in a time of 7:51.00. The third varsity eight crossed the finish line in second in a time of 7:14.80.
  • The Huskies also took third in the second varsity eight and the second varsity four with times of 7:11.10 and 7:57.20, respectively.
  • Wrapping up the morning, the fourth varsity eight, stroked by Hannah Szych, came in first place in a head-to-head with Dartmouth, clocking a time of 7:17.80
Northeastern will be back on the Charles next weekend to race Rhode Island and compete against Boston University for the Council Cup.
