43 Huskies Named To Hockey East All-Academic Team

MEN'S RELEASE | WOMEN'S RELEASE

BOSTON –
Leading the list of 43 student-athletes from the men's and the women's teams are Michael Fisher, Grant Riley, Megan Carter and Lily Shannon who were named Hockey East's Top Scholar Athletes and made their respective academic All-Star teams. The men's team totaled 22 academic honorees while the women's team had 21 academic honorees. 
  
Earning academic honors for the men's ice hockey team are Vinny Borgesi (two-time honoree), Alex Campbell, Harrison Chesney, Matt Choupani, Patrick Dawson, Matt DeMelis (five-time honoree), Jackson Dorrington (two-time honoree), Brett Edwards, Michael Fisher, Kyle Furey, Dylan Hryckowian, Anthony Messuri (two-time honoree), Andy Moore, Billy Norcross, Michael Outzen (four-time honoree), Grant Riley (two-time honoree), Eli Sebastian, Matthew Staudacher, Liam Walsh, Pito Walton, Cameron Whitehead and Jack Williams (two-time honoree).

Earning accolades for the women's ice hockey team are Holly Abela, Kristina Allard (two-time honoree), Peyton Anderson (two-time honoree), Alyssa Antonaskis (two-time honoree), Ella Blackmore, Megan Carter (four-time honoree), Mady Cipolla, Peyton Cullaton, Molly Griffin (three-time honoree), Skylar Irving (two-time honoree), Rylie Jones, Katy Knoll (four-time honoree), Allie Lalonde, Ellie Mabardy, Tory Mariano (two-time honoree), Abbey Marohn (three-time honoree), Gwyneth Philips (four-time honoree), Lily Shannon (two-time honoree), Taze Thompson (two-time honoree), Becca Vanstone and Lily Yovetich (four-time honoree). 

In being named All-Academic Team honorees in each semester of four varsity seasons, Outzen and Walsh, in addition to, Carter, Knoll, Philips and Yovetich also earned Distinguished Scholar accolades.
