Northeastern Earns Boat Of The Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va.— The Northeastern women's rowing team's first varsity eight earned CAA Boat of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. This marks the second time this season Northeastern has earned a weekly award from the CAA.
  • On Lake Quinsigamond, the Huskies claimed a fourth-place finish in the Grand Final of the 2024 Eastern Sprints, finishing with a time of 7:02.588, just behind No. 7 Brown, No. 13 Rutgers and No. 19 Columbia and edged Boston University and Dartmouth.
  • The crew, consisting of Camille Arnold-Mages (cox), Isla Bathgate (Stroke), Firinne Rolfe (7), Ellexi Fulton (6), Iris Cotrupi (5), Heather Taylor (4), Grace Theobald (3), Julia Halbreich (2) and Jordan Hillyard (Bow), advanced to the Grand Final after placing first in their heat against No. 19 Columbia, URI, Michigan State, Marist and Colgate, as they crossed the finish line in 6:55.658.
The Huskies resume action on May 17-18 at the CAA Championships in Cherry Hill, N.J.
