Women's Rowing Unveils 2025 Schedule

BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern women's rowing team and head coach Joe Wilhelm announced their schedule for the 2025 Spring slate. The season features two races on the Charles River and five races overall. The Huskies will face five schools who finished in the top-20 in the country last spring, including Boston University, Brown, Penn, Rutgers and Rhode Island.
 
Northeastern is coming off its tenth-straight CAA Championship and 14th-straight appearance at the NCAA Championships. This season, the Huskies are led by captains Piper Larin and Heather Taylor. The Huskies are looking to build off a strong fall performance that was highlighted by a third-place finish from the first varsity eight at the Foot of the Charles in a field of 26 with a final time of 14:07.300.
 
The Huskies will make their spring debut at the Doc Hosea Invitational on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J. on Saturday, March 29. 
 
Northeastern will next hit the Charles River in back-to-back weekends. The Huskies take on Boston University and Dartmouth on Saturday, April 5 before facing Boston University and Columbia on Saturday, April 12.

The Huskies will then make the trip to Vermont for the Lake Morey Regatta to race Cornell, Dartmouth and Rhode Island on Saturday, April 19.
 
Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. is slated next on Sunday, May 4. Northeastern will once again look to defend its CAA Title on Saturday-Sunday May 16-17 in Cherry Hill, N.J.
