AMESBURY, Mass.— Senior
Lily Shannon of the No. 13 Northeastern women's hockey team was named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week as announced on Monday.

Shannon posted two goals, four assists and six points over two wins against Providence and RPI. She had one goal and one assist in the Huskies' first Hockey East win of the season against PC. Shannon followed it up with a career-high four points in the 6-1 rout over RPI. Â

This marks Shannon's first weekly award of the season. The captain has posted two goals, six assists and eight points through four games for NU to start 2025-26.

Shannon and the Huskies are back in action with a  two-game series at No. 7 Quinnipiac beginning on Friday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m.
