Jahmyl Telfort Signs Two-Way Contract With Los Angeles Clippers

BOSTON – Former Northeastern men's basketball standout Jahmyl Telfort signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday, the team announced on Saturday.

Telfort spent three seasons at Northeastern, appearing in 79 games (62 starts) and averaging 13.9 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game and shooting 43% overall.

As a junior in 2022-23, Telfort finished fifth in the CAA in scoring at 16.4 points per game and sixth in field goal percentage (45%) after starting all 30 games for the Huskies, leading the team in scoring in 17 of those games. An All-CAA Third Team and NABC All-District Second Team selection, the Boucherville, Quebec native scored 20+ points in 11 games this season, including a career-high 31-point night earlier this year, one of 60 players in program history to score at least 31 points in a game.

He became the 41st player in Northeastern history to reach 1000 career points that season, the 20th to do so in three seasons or less and 15th to accomplish the feat in the Bill Coen era. Telfort ended the season 30th on Northeastern's all-time scoring list with 1095 career points before transferring to Butler for his final two seasons of collegiate eligibility.

He joined the LA Clippers for NBA 2K26 Summer League action in July before earning a spot on the Training Camp roster this fall, appearing in three preseason games.
