THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- SERIES HISTORY: Northeastern and Boston University will meet for the 84th time in program history, with the Terriers holding a slight advantage at 44-39 in the all-time series. The Huskies are 2-3 in the last five meetings between the two programs. Fans can expect another close rivalry battle, with two of the previous three games being decided by three points or less, including an overtime thriller in the Cabot Center in Northeastern's last home game against BU on December 22, 2023. The Terriers enter the contest 0-2 on the season with a pair of close home losses to Quinnipiac and Dartmouth, making this their first road game of 2025-26.
- LAST TIME OUT:Â The Huskies picked up their first win of the season with a 75-64 victory at Yale on Friday. Northeastern used a balanced offensive attack with four players reaching double figures. Yirsy Quéliz and Morgan Matthews each tallied 15 points to pace the Huskies, while Camryn Collins and Nariyah Simmons each added 14 points. The Huskies dominated the boards with 42 rebounds and scored 40 points in the paint to defeat the Bulldogs.
- COLLINS HEATING UP:Â Sophomore guard Camryn Collins has reached double figures in both of her first two games as a Husky and leads the team with 14.5 points per game. Collins posted a team-high three steals in the victory at Yale, helping Northeastern force 19 turnovers and score 18 points off those miscues. The Foxboro, Massachusetts native tallied 15 points in her Northeastern debut against LIU and has provided a consistent scoring punch for the Huskies early in the season.
Following the BU game, Northeastern will travel to Merrimack on Saturday, November 15. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. in North Andover, Mass.
