Huskies Travel To Yale For First Road Trip Of 2025

BOSTON -- The Northeastern women's basketball team (0-1) hits the road for the first time this season to face Yale (0-0) on Friday, November 7 at 6 p.m. The game will stream on ESPN+ from Lee Amphitheater in New Haven, Connecticut.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

  1. CRASHING THE GLASS: The Huskies dominated the boards in their season-opening victory over LIU, tallying 45 rebounds. The mark tied for the most rebounds in a game since Northeastern grabbed 45 in a 73-61 victory at Stonehill in November of 2023. The Huskies tallied 54 rebounds twice during the 2022-23 season. The strong rebounding effort was a balanced attack with contributions from across the roster, led by sophomore Taylor Holohan who grabbed nine rebounds in her season debut.
  2. SERIES HISTORY: Northeastern and Yale will meet for the sixth time in program history and the first time since 2021. The Bulldogs hold a 3-2 advantage in the all-time series, which dates back to 1983 when the teams met twice. The programs also faced off in 2018 during the WBI, 2019, and most recently in 2021.
  3. MAKING AN INSTANT IMPACT: The Huskies showcased their new faces in the season opener against LIU, with several freshmen and transfers making significant contributions. Guard Camryn Collins led the team with 15 points in 28 minutes, while Nariyah Simmons posted six points, eight rebounds, and three assists in her Husky debut. Morgan Matthews logged over 30 minutes with seven points and four rebounds off the bench, showcasing the depth of Northeastern's newcomers.

The Huskies return home to face Boston University on Tuesday, November 11 at 2 p.m. on NESN and streaming on FloCollege. Tickets are available at NUHuskies.com/tickets.
