WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross (3-6) used a 22-8 run over the final 9:07 of the first half and never looked back against the Northeastern men's basketball team (3-5), downing the Huskies on Wednesday night at Hart Center Arena, 76-59.

The run was on the heels of another 9-0 Crusaders run over a 2:04 span early in the game that gave the hosts a lead it would never give back.

Mike Loughnane had 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting along with four rebounds and four assists. He was joined in double figures by
JB Frankel (11 points on 3-of-5 from three) for a Northeastern squad that finished 24-of-61 overall and 8-of-28 from long range.

Holy Cross, meanwhile, put three players in double figures led by 18 from Tyler Boston on 7-of-13 from the floor. As a team, the Crusaders shot 54% overall (30-of-56), 5-of-16 from three, and scored 46 points in the paint.

Northeastern will return home on Sunday when the Huskies host Central Connecticut State. Tip-off at the Cabot Center is set for 1 p.m. on FloCollege.
