Cole Named CAA Co-Women's Field Athlete Of The Week

RICHMOND, Va. — Sophomore Camryn Cole was named CAA Co-Women's Field Athlete of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon.

Cole participated in the high jump at Saturday's Scarlet & White Invitational, hosted by Boston University, where she leaped to a distance of 1.80m. Her mark set a new school record and personal best in the event, breaking the previous record by .02m and her previous personal best by .15m. She currently ranks tied for 28th nationally and first in the Northeast Region and CAA in the high jump. This is her first school record in her collegiate career, as she becomes the eighth Husky to set a new school record this indoor season.

Cole and the rest of the Northeastern track and field team prepare for their final meets before the CAA Championships. They compete in the BU Valentine Invitational from February 14-15 and the Geigengack Invitational at Yale on February 15.
