RICHMOND, Va. – Sophomore
Savannah Blair earned CAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week, as announced by the league office.
Blair continued last week's strong performance at the USF Invitational by setting two school records at the UConn Northeast Challenge. The Ajax, Ontario, Canada native started by running the second leg of the women's 4x100 relay, where the group took first place and set a new school record of 45.14. She then added a 23.41 dash in the 200m to win her second race of the afternoon and her second school record.
Blair and the rest of the track and field team look ahead to the Penn Relays, starting Thursday, April 24, and UMass Pre-Conference Meet on Saturday, April 26.
