TAMPA, Fla. – Sophomore Camryn Cole and junior Ariann Robinson added personal bests and all-time marks to their outdoor season as the Northeastern track and field team took on the second and final day of the South Florida Invitational Saturday afternoon and evening.
- Cole's personal best leap of 6.05m earned her third place in the women's long jump, and her mark ranks sixth on the outdoor performance list. She then cleared the bar at 1.65m in the women's high jump to tie for third.
- Robinson was the lone Husky to run the women's 400m, clocking a personal best of 54.79 for eighth place. Her time ranks fourth all-time in outdoor program history.
- Sophomore Savannah Blair (11.35) outraced her closest opponent by a tenth of a second to win her heat and finish second overall in the women's 100m. Sophomore Victoria Knight also raced, running an 11.70 to finish 19th overall.
- Blair added another heat win in the women's 200m, this time taking first place overall after running a 23.09, and Knight dashed across the line at 24.52 for 28th.
The Huskies conclude their action-packed weekend with the UMass Commonwealth Invitational tomorrow, April 13, starting at 10 a.m.
