BOSTON – It's a three-game week for the Northeastern men's basketball team to close out the regular season, beginning on Monday night at Monmouth. Tip-off at the OceanFirst Bank Center is set for 7 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.

1. CRUNCH TIME
Northeastern is 7-8 in conference play with three games remaining in the regular season, tied for eighth place in the conference standings and one game out of sixth. The Huskies final three games come at Monmouth (8-7; 6th place), against North Carolina A&T (3-13; 13th) and at William & Mary (11-4; 3rd).

2. SERIES HISTORY VS. ÂMONMOUTH
Northeastern and Monmouth are meeting for the seventh time, with the series tied 3-3. The teams split the season series last year, including a Huskies victory in Boston, 77-65.

Rashad King had 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting along with seven rebounds and five boards, while
Harold Woods added 10 points and nine rebounds.

3. RIM PROTECTOR
Junior
Collin Metcalf had six blocks in 18 minutes against La Salle on Dec. 3, the most in the game for a Husky since Nkem Ojougboh at Santa Clara on Dec. 29, 2009. He followed it up with another six last week against Charleston, t-23rd in a game in the NCAA this season.

Metcalf's 2.4 blocks per game are 12th in the NCAA, while his 68 total blocks are seventh in the nation, second in the CAA and fourth on Northeastern's single-season record list.

After recording 107 blocks in 32 games last season, Northeastern has 131 in 28 games in 2024-25.
