Skylar Irving and freshman
Tuva Kandell of the Northeastern women's hockey team were named to Hockey East All-Star teams as announced on Friday. Irving earned Second Team All-Star honors, while Kandell was named a Third Team All-Star.

Irving leads all Huskies with 30 points, the fifth-best mark among all Hockey East players. She has posted a career-high 14 goals this season to pair with 16 assists. The Kingston, Massachusetts native has four game-winning goals on the season, tied for the 13th-best mark in the NCAA. Irving has now earned Hockey East All-Star honors in back-to-back seasons after being named to the Third Team in 2023-24.

Kandell earned Hockey East Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team honors in addition to being selected as Third Team All-Star. The Leksand, Sweden native tallied 18 points, off four goals and 14 assists. Her 18 points rank second nationally among all rookie defensemen and tied for third among all Hockey East defensemen. Kandell is the first Husky rookie to earn All-Star honors from Hockey East since
Katy Knoll was a Third Team All-Star in 2019-20.
