Huskies To Face Harvard Monday At TD Garden

BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern Huskies are back at TD Garden to close out the 72nd annual Dunkin' Men's Beanpot tournament. Northeastern will take on the Harvard Crimson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 10.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. FAMILIAR FOES: Monday night's contest will be the third consecutive year that Huskies and Crimson have seen each other in the Beanpot with NU taking home the win in the last two meetings. In the most recent tournament meeting between the two programs, Northeastern won, 3-2 in overtime, to move on to the 2024 championship game
  2. CAREER FIRST AT THE GARDEN: In NU's most recent outing, freshman Ben Poitras recorded his first collegiate goal against No. 1 Boston College on Mon., Feb 3rd, assisted by freshman Seth Constance for his first collegiate point. Poitras joins sophomore Eli Sebastian and rookies James Fisher and Joe Connor who also tallied their first career goals during the 2024-25 season. Sebastian tallied his at No. 6 Maine on Fri., Jan. 31st, while Fisher's came against Merrimack on Sat., Dec. 14, and Connor's came against No. 11 Providence on Nov. 8.
  3. TWENTY CLUB: The Northeastern stat sheet includes four skaters with 20 points this season. Junior Jack Williams sits first overall on the team with 29 points from 12 goals and a team-high 17 assists. Fellow junior Cam Lund trails just behind with 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points. Sophomore Dylan Hryckowian follows with 25 points from 12 assists and a team-high 13 goals and junior Vinny Borgesi comes in with five goals and 15 assists for 20 points, leading all defensemen in each category.
