Huskies Home On The Charles Against BU, Dartmouth & MIT

BOSTON — The Northeastern women's rowing team will compete in their first home race of the season on the Charles River against Boston University, No. 22 Dartmouth and MIT.
  
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. BACK ON THE CHARLES: This weekend's races are scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m with the varsity eight and will conclude at 8:40 a.m. with the third varsity eight. All races will stream live on FloCollege.
  2. LAST TIME OUT: In their 2025 opening weekend, the Huskies advanced all six of their crews to the Grand Finals at the Doc Hosea Invitational against a competitive field that included two top-15 crews in Penn and Rutgers. Northeastern first varsity eight finished third, just behind Rutgers and Penn, with a time of 6:36.560.
  3. AGAINST BU: Northeastern and Boston University last battled for the Council Cup, with the Huskies earning the cup during the 2024 season. With a time of 7:11.50, Northeastern first varsity eight took first place over BU, winning by over two seconds.

Northeastern is back on the Charles on Saturday, April 12 against Boston University and Columbia. The Huskies will also be hosting their annual Spring Brunch with the entire Northeastern rowing community invited to join the team for a brunch reception, following the races, at Henderson Boathouse. Registrar here.
