BOSTON, Mass. — The Northeastern men's hockey team wraps up the Hockey East regular season this week with two games on deck. The Huskies will travel to Merrimack on Thursday for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop before closing out their slate with a matchup against No. 6 Providence on Saturday, beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Both games will be streamed on ESPN+. Saturday's game will also be featured on Hockey East's and NESN's debut of
Hockey East Live, a first-of-its-kind whip around show that will cap off the men's regular season. The late games will feature staggered starting times to allow for maximum coverage of each game of the regular season finale.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- BATTLING THE WARRIORS: The two programs, who have already played twice this season, will be playing their 130th all-time matchup this Thursday. Northeastern has won seven of the last ten games, outscoring Merrimack 31-18. Leading the way in scoring is sophomore Dylan Hryckowian who has tallied one goal and eight assists in six career games against the Warriors.
- YOUR 2025 GRADUATING CLASS: Graduate student Jake Boltmann has skated in 30 games for Northeastern, tallying ten assists and a career-high two goals for 12 points this season. Graduate student Jake Higgins has skated in all 32 games for Northeastern, tallying 25 blocks. Senior Ryan McGuire has tallied 45 career points with 22 goals and 23 assists. Senior Cristophe Tellier has donned the Northeastern jersey in 31 games this season, amassing four goals and 12 assists for 16 points.
- H(O)WL AT THE MOON: Captain Jack Williams, assistant captain Cam Lund and sophomore Dylan Hryckowian have all hit the 30-point mark through NU's 32 games this season. Williams leads all NU skaters with a career-high 37 points, which is tied for 14th in the country, from 15 goals (tied for the team high) and a career-high 22 assists. Lund ranks second on the Husky's roster with a career-high 32 points from 17 assists and a career- high 15 goals. Hryckowian rounds out Northeastern's top line with 17 assists and a career-high 13 goals for 30 points.
