PENNSAUKEN, N.J.— For the 11th-straight season, the Northeastern women's rowing team won the CAA Championship on Saturday morning at Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. The Huskies claimed 47 points through all three scoring races.

Joe Wilhelm was named the CAA Coach of the Year, for a conference-best 11
th time.

Heather Taylor and
Victoria Thibeault all earned All-CAA honors.
In the first race of the day, the third varsity eight, stroked by
Alice Brashers, started the day off right securing a win by over eight seconds in a time of 7:05.900.
The varsity four had a strong showing in the first scoring race of the day. Stroked by
Piper Larin, the varsity four finished in second place with a time of 7:36.702.
The second varsity eight had an eight-second victory over Drexel to bring home 16 points. Stroked by
Liv Oyen, the Huskies crossed the finish line in a time of 6:44.273.
The first varsity eight, stroked by
Heather Taylor, finished off the day in style, securing 24 points as they won their race by over nine seconds. The Huskies posted a time of 6:45.458.
With the victory, Northeastern has secured the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Championship which will take place from May 30-June 1 in West Windsor, N.J. The Huskies now own 14 CAA Championships overall.
