BOSTON — Fresh off their 11th-straight CAA title, the Huskies are headed to Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. to compete at the 2025 NCAA Championship Regatta from Friday, May 30 – Sunday, June 1. This marks the 15
th time in program history that Northeastern will compete at the NCAA Championship, after clinching the CAA's automatic bid.
Racing will begin with heats on Friday, May 30. The first varsity eight will begin the day at 10:24 a.m., followed by the second varsity eight at 11:00 a.m. and the varsity four at 12:00 p.m.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- ELEVEN HEAVEN: The Huskies won their 11th-straight CAA Championship on Saturday, May 17 at Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. The Huskies claimed 47 points through all three scoring races.
- HUSKIES' HONOREES: Following the CAA Championship, head coach Joe Wilhelm was named the CAA Coach of the Year, for a conference-best 11th time. Camille Arnold-Mages, Ellexi Fulton, Windsyr Maughan, Firinne Rolfe, Heather Taylor and Victoria Thibeault all earned All-CAA honors. Rolfe is now a two-time All-CAA honoree.
- NCAA REWIND: Last season, Northeastern made its tenth consecutive appearance at the national championship regatta. The Huskies rowed to 18th place in the varsity eight classification (seeded No. 18), 19th place in the second varsity eight classification (seeded No. 19) and 20th place in the varsity four classification (seeded No. 19). This marked the Huskies' second-straight 18th place finish at the NCAA Regatta, their best showings since 2017.
