Exilhomme Qualifies For Quarterfinals At Day One Of NCAA East First Round

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Senior Ethan Exilhomme secured a spot in Friday's NCAA quarterfinal, as the Northeastern track and field team took on the first day of the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Preliminaries at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.

  • Exilhomme finished second in his heat and 14th overall after running a 13.85 in the first round of the men's 110m hurdles. He and 23 other athletes will attempt to punch a ticket to the NCAA Championships on Friday evening.
  • Graduate student Nicholas Pisciotta tossed his hammer 62.61m in his second attempt, earning 24th overall in the men's hammer throw. The Commack, New York native concludes his track and field career as a seven-time CAA gold medalist and three-time CAA hammer throw champion.
  • In the men's 400m hurdles, graduate student Cameron Rodgers made his first appearance at the Division I Track & Field Championships, finishing 25th overall after clocking a 51.11.
  • Sophomore Brunner Williams closed the night with the men's 200m, running a 21.72.

The Huskies are back in action tomorrow afternoon as sophomore Savannah Blair attempts to make the quarterfinals of the women's 100m and 200m. Due to weather delays affecting the schedule, her first event is set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
