Women's Rowing Concludes Racing At Eastern Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass.— The Northeastern women's rowing team concluded a long day of racing at the 50th annual Women's Eastern Sprints. The Huskies had two boats compete in the grand finals and four boats compete in the petite finals.
  • The Huskies second varsity eight and fourth varsity eight competed in their respective grand finals.
  • Stroked by Liv Oyen, the second varsity eight took sixth in the grand final with a time of 7:13.284, while the fourth varsity eight, stroked by Cece Cole, finished in third with a time of 8:30.978.
  • The Huskies' efforts in the petite finals were highlighted by first-place finishes from the varsity four and second varsity four. With Piper Larin in the stroke seat, the varsity four crossed the line at 8:24.042. The second varsity four, stroked by Alice Brashers, clocked a time of 8:42.035.
  • In the varsity eight petite final, Northeastern came in second place with a time of 7:07.874 with Camille Arnold-Mages as the coxswain.
  • Northeastern earned another second-place finish in the third varsity petite finals with a time of 8:17.490 with Claudia Decker in the stroke seat.
Next on deck for Northeastern is the 2025 CAA Championships on May 17-18 in Cherry Hill, N.J.
