BOSTON -- Head coach
Joe Wilhelm has announced the leadership group for the 2025-26 season. This season's captains include junior
Sarah Kaputa, senior
Liv Oyen and senior
Jorja Shemilt.
"Our athletes have selected three outstanding individuals as our captains for the 2025-26 season," said Wilhelm. "We are confident that Sarah, Liv and Jorja will build on our team culture of resilience and grit, while being great ambassadors for our team."
This season's leadership group helped see the women's rowing team to their 11th-straight CAA title en route to making their 11
th consecutive appearance at the National Championship regatta. Oyen and Shemilt competed for the Huskies at the NCAA Championship where Northeastern took a 19
th-place finish.
Oyen additionally received the team's Most Improved Athlete award and was named a CRCA Scholar-Athlete alongside Shemilt.
