Rolfe To Compete With Rowing Canada Aviron

BOSTON — Firinne Rolfe, an alumna of the Northeastern women's rowing team, has been selected to represent Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) at the 2025 Junior Pan Am Games from August 9-23 in Asuncion, Paraguay. For the second edition of the Junior Pan Am Games, U23 rowers will be able to continue developing towards the U23 team and future Senior teams. 
  
During the 2024-25 season, the British Columbia native sat as a member of NU's first varsity eight crew helping the Huskies' to a first-place finish in the D Finals at the NCAA Championship Regatta, clinch their 11th-straight CAA title at the league championship, and earn a CAA Boat of the Week honors.

Rolfe earned several athletic and academic honors throughout the season, including CAA All-Conference, CRCA Scholar-Athlete and two-time CAA Academic Honor Roll accolades. Additionally, she earned the CAA Leadersip and Sport Excellenece Award which represents the highest standards of teamwork, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship in an athlete's academic and athletic achievements in their respective sport.
