BOSTON – The Northeastern men's basketball team is back in the Cabot Center on Thursday night when the Huskies host Elon. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on NESN+ and FloCollege.
Â
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
Â
1. SERIES HISTORY VS. ELON
Northeastern and Elon will be meeting for the second time this season and 23rd time overall, with the Huskies holding an 13-9 edge in the series. The Phoenix earned a victory over Northeastern earlier this season in Elon, 101-93.
Â
In that game,
Ty Francis (23) and
William Kermoury (20) combined for 43 points and the Huskies shot 57% from the floor.
Â
2. KER-MONEY
William Kermoury has it going from three-point range, shooting 56% in CAA play (24-of-43). He's one of just two players in the CAA to hit at least six threes in a game three times this season. He's also coming off a career-high 28 points on 9-of-16 shooting overall and 5-of-10 from three against Towson on Jan. 10.
Â
As a team, the Huskies have hit 10 threes or more in a game three times this season including a season-high 14 at Elon on Dec. 29.
Â
3. RISING ROOKIES
