The Huskies host Campbell (10-7, 3-1 CAA) on Friday night at Cabot Center before traveling to Hempstead, N.Y. to face Hofstra (3-12, 1-3 CAA) on Sunday afternoon.
Friday's contest against the Fighting Camels tips off at 7 p.m. on FloCollege and NESN+, while Sunday's matchup with the Pride is set for a 2 p.m. start.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
1. LAST TIME OUT: Northeastern snapped an eight-game winning streak by Monmouth with a 72-67 victory on Saturday, earning the Huskies' first CAA win of the season.
Camryn Collins tied her career high with 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including a blistering 4-of-5 from three-point range.
Taylor Holohan added 14 points and four rebounds, while
Justice Tramble contributed 13 points and five boards. The win marked a bounce-back effort after a heartbreaking 83-84 overtime loss to N.C. A&T on Thursday, a game in which Holohan posted a career-high 22 points. The Huskies shot 50% from the field against Monmouth and converted 24-of-30 free throws to seal the victory.
2. SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS: Campbell enters Friday's matchup as one of the CAA's hottest teams, leading the conference in scoring defense at 57.5 points per game. Northeastern trails the all-time series 0-2, with Campbell winning both meetings since joining the CAA, including an 81-41 rout last February in Buies Creek. Freshman guard Jasmine Nivar has won CAA Rookie of the Week honors a school-record five times this season, while senior Gianni Boone recently eclipsed 1,000 career points. On Sunday, the Huskies travel to face a Hofstra team that dropped to 3-12 overall after a 67-38 loss at Drexel over the weekend. The Pride leads the all-time series 7-3 over the last 10 meetings, including a 69-53 victory over Northeastern in last year's CAA Tournament quarterfinals. Senior guard Emma Von Essen leads the CAA with 2.7 three-pointers per game for a Hofstra squad looking to bounce back from a 0-2 conference weekend.
3. CLUTCH CAM: Sophomore guard
Camryn Collins earned CAA Player of the Week honors on Monday after a dominant two-game stretch to open conference play. Collins averaged 18.5 points per game while shooting 57.1% from the field and 66.7% from three-point range, scoring 18 points in the overtime loss to N.C. A&T before tying her career high with 19 against Monmouth. The Rider transfer tallied six assists and three steals over the weekend, including a 4-of-5 performance from beyond the arc against the Hawks. Collins leads Northeastern in scoring at 12.4 points per game and ranks second on the team in steals (1.5 per game) and three-pointers made (16), reaching double figures in 11 of the Huskies' 14 games this season. She became the first Northeastern women's basketball player to earn CAA weekly honors this season and the first Husky to claim the award since 2023.
