BOSTON – Coming off a thrilling victory on Thursday night, the Northeastern men's basketball team will look to build on that momentum when the Huskies travel to Monmouth on Monday morning. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
Â
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
Â
1. SERIES HISTORY VS. MONMOUTH
Northeastern and Monmouth will be meeting for the eighth time, with the Hawks holding a 4-3 edge in the series. The teams have traded wins over the last four meetings, with Monmouth earning a 78-73 victory last season in West Long Branch.
Â
2. FILLING IT UP
William Kermoury finished his career night against Elon on Thursday 11-of-18 from the field, becoming the fourth Husky this season to make at least 10 field goals in a game. Northeastern and Campbell are the only CAA schools to have four different players record 10+ makes this season.

3. GETTING COMFORTABLE
Freshman guard

Â
Most of his damage has been done in the second half, where he's scored 64% of his points (116-of -181) including 18 points in the final 20 minutes against both North Carolina A&T (Dec. 31) and Elon (Jan. 15).
Â
Earlier this season, he averaged 24.5 ppg in two games off the bench to earn CAA Player of the Week honors on Nov. 24. Abreu registered his first career double-digit scoring effort with 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting while logging three steals at Princeton and followed it up by notching 32 points on 11-of-17 shooting vs. Duquesne. He also added five rebounds, three steals, two assists and a block in the final minute of the game.Â
