Huskies Complete Day One Of CAA Championships

HAMPTON, VA. - The Northeastern swim and dive team (6-2) completed day one of the CAA Championships held at the Hampton Aquaplex. Northeastern competed in two events, the 200 Medley Relay and the 800 Free Relay,

In the 200 Medley Relay, the Husky quartet of senior Anna Verlander, graduate student Elisabeth Bendall, freshman Alex Fuller and junior May Bradburn combined for a time of 1:42.11 to secure a fifth-place finish.
Northeastern's team of junior Mary Nordmann, freshman Siena Griffiths, freshman Abigail Gowern and junior May Bradburn placed fifth in the 800 Free Relay, recording a time of 7:29.36.

The Huskies compete again tomorrow, beginning with the 500 Free at. 9:30 a.m.
