BOSTON – The Northeastern women's swim and dive team (6-2) wrapped up action at the NU Diving Invitational and the Boston Winter Open with a collection of top-five finishes and victories from freshman Alex Fuller in the 100 Back and junior May Bradburn in the 200 Free.
Boston Winter Open
- Freshman Eliana Auerbach placed fourth in the 500 Free with a time of 5:05.51, while sophomore Kate Kerber recorded a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM at 2:07.58.
- Freshman Marea Li secured fourth in the 50 Free with a 24.30 and added another fourth-place showing in the 100 Fly, touching in 56.80.
- Bradburn paced the Huskies in the 200 Free with a winning time of 1:49.86, as Auerbach completed a Northeastern 1–2 finish by taking second in 1:53.40.
- Fuller captured the 100 Back title in 55.34, and junior Mary Nordmann followed with a fourth-place finish of 56.58.
- In the 100 Breast, graduate student Elisabeth Bendall earned second place in 1:05.33, narrowly ahead of senior Marcela Scaramuzza, who finished third in 1:05.98.
- Freshman Sophie Bromley recorded a third-place finish in the 200 Back with a time of 2:02.39, while freshman Alex Campion placed fifth in 2:03.87.
- Senior Anna Verlander then claimed second in the 100 Free at 51.60, with freshman Siena Griffiths taking third in 52.47.
- Nordmann added a runner-up finish in the 200 Fly with a 2:04.53, and freshman Cece Traub secured fourth in 2:07.89.
NU Diving Invitational
- In the 3M, senior Anelise Kim took second place. Through her diving, Kim earned a score of 279. Fellow Huskies, freshman Kailyn Aquino and sophomore Madeline Wong came in sixth and seventh.
- Anelise Kim placed third in the 1M, leading the Huskies. Her score in the event was 272.78.
Northeastern now shifts its focus to postseason competition at the CAA Championships, scheduled for Feb. 25–28 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
