Huskies Complete The UCF Black & Gold Invitational

ORLANDO - The Northeastern track and field team finished competition at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational on Saturday evening, highlighted by Savannah Blair's ninth place finish in the 100m dash. 

FIELD EVENTS
  • Senior Leila Curtis earned an eleventh place finish in the discuss throw with a 40.02m mark.
  • Freshman Ogechi Nathan leapt to a fifteenth place finish in the triple jump (11.55m).

TRACK EVENTS
  • Junior Taeshawn Berry ran a 49.57 time in the 400m, earning him a 35th place finish.
  • Junior Savannah Blair took a top-ten place in the 100m dash, crossing the finish line at 11.79 to take ninth place.
  • In the mens 100m dash, junior Brunner Williams took eleventh place due to his 10.72 time. Junior Raymond Felton III finished close behind in fourteenth place at 10.75.
  • The Northeastern men's 4x400 squad took ninth place, combining efforts for a 3:14.63 final time. 
The Huskies are back in action next weekend at the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina.
