Huskies Mentor The Future
A group of Huskies, Jordy Allard, Gregory Bozzo, Mike Sirota, Luck Beckstein, Nick Davis, and Jack Thorbahn, volunteered with a local youth camp to teach the game of baseball to young kids, and to act as mentors to the next generation of baseball players.

Northeastern Baseball Walks to End Alzheimer's
On Oct. 2, Matt Downing, Eric Yost, Wyatt Scotti, Griffin Young, and Patrick Harrington headed to Brickstone Square in Andover, Mass. where the Huskies participated in the 2022 Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The group completed the walking course alongside more than 1,500 participants, helping the event raise more than $450,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Huskies Participate in 12th Annual 'Miles for Liam' 5k
In support of their Team Impact teammate, Liam, the Northeastern baseball team headed to Norwood, Massachusetts, on Oct. 8 to participate in the 12th annual Miles for Liam 5K Walk/Run, as hosted by Liam’s L.E.E.P.
All proceeds from the Miles for Liam 5K Walk/Run go to support Liam’s L.E.E.P., which assists families of children living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) - the most common genetic disorder that affects muscle development, mainly in boys, like Liam. To learn more, please click here. |

Huskies Work With 'Journey Forward' for the Sixth Straight Season
A group of Huskies, Dennis Colleran, Eric Yost, Wyatt Scotti, Jake Giggliotti, and Joseph Hauser, volunteered at Journey Forward’s fall charity event, where they helped support those with spinal cord injuries and disabilities. This year marks the Huskies’ sixth consecutive during which Northeastern has been involved with Journey Forward as part of its 19 Ways initiative.
Journey Forward is a nonprofit organization based in Canton, Massachusetts, that assists its patients through an exercise-based rehabilitation program, helping them achieve the most basic of lifelong functions and benefits. To learn more, please visit journey-forward.org. |

A Trio of Huskies Take on 5th Annual 'Kate's Run'
On October 23, Jack Doyle, Dennis Colleran, and Brett Dunham participated in the 5th Annual 'Kate's Run', a 5k charity race in Braintree, Mass. to benefit the Kate Phalon McCarthy Memorial Fund.
The fund, created in honor of Kate and her ideals, gives back to our communities by providing scholarships to further local students' education; financial support for patients and families battling illnesses; and support for various local charitable causes.

Northeastern Baseball Gets in the Spooky Spirit with Boston Shriners
On October 23, Matt Downing, Jack Beauchesne, and Aiven Cabral participated in Boston Shriner's third-annual Haunted Walk.
Shriners Hospitals for Children – Boston hosted its Haunted Walk at the Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA.
Patients, families, and community members will get into the spooky spirit and advance world-class pediatric acute burn care, reconstructive plastic surgery, and cleft lip and palate care, always regardless of families’ ability to pay or insurance status. Huskies Urge Classmates to 'Be The Match'
On October 26, the Northeastern baseball team partnered with "Be The Match", registering new potential matches for bone marrow and blood stem cell transplants, saving the lives of those diagnosed with life-threate4ning blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma.
The Huskies set up shop in and around the Cabot Center, urging fellow students and student-athletes to take five minutes to register their sample to enter the registry. |

Huskies Take on 'More Than Pink' Walk in Cambridge
A group of eight Huskies, Carson Walsh, Harrison Feinberg, Charlie Walker, Spenser Smith, Ed Jarvis, Gregory Bozzo, Danny Crossen, and Justin Bosland, participated in the 2022 Susan G Komen 'More Than Pink' walk on Sunday, October 30, in Cambridge, Mass.
To this day, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has invested nearly $1.1 billion to breast cancer research since 1982.

Northeastern Baseball hosts Halloween Game with Liam
The Huskies gathered their best Halloween costumes and headed to Friedman Diamond for a Halloween game with their Team Impact star Liam, who had his family in attendance in Brookline.
The home team, Team Masiuk, took down Team Bosland by a score of 5-4. |

Huskies Deliver Canned Goods to Lexington
In preparation for the holiday season, the Huskies gathered up non-perishable food items to donate to the Lexington Food Pantry in early November.

Huskies Continue Holiday Season Food Donations to Worcester
In continuation with donating food items to non-profits during the holiday season, the Huskies also delivered food to the St. John's Food Pantry in Worcester, Mass.
St. John’s Food for the Poor Program at the unique St. Francis Xavier Center in Worcester, Massachusetts is a nonprofit charitable organization. Volunteers serve up to 1000 hot nutritious meals a day, five days a week. Free food and support programs are available to any man, woman or child in need of food regardless of race, color, creed, gender or way of life.

The Brookline Nine Delivers Coats Downtown
The entire Northeastern Baseball squad participated in a coat drive at the St. Francis House in downtown Boston this winter - providing much-needed winter clothing to the program for this 2022-23 winter season.
Located in the heart of downtown Boston, the St. Francis House welcomes up to 500 individuals every day who are experiencing homelessness. Providing services such as shelter, recovery, housing, pathways to employment, and behavioral/medical health, St. Francis House provides guests with continuous and comprehensive support on their journey.

The Road to Recovery - Phil Di Blasi
The entire team traveled to the hospital on December sixth to visit teammate Phil Di Blasi, who wrapped up a 13-month cycle of chemotherapy and radiation treatment for medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer.
Phil's time at Northeastern looked to be cut short when he was diagnosed with the cancer his freshman season, after an eight-hour surgery to remove a mass from his brain stem. He then began his 13-month road to recovery.
With his teammates by his side, Phil looks to start on his recovery path back to the baseball field. |

Food Drive Delivery to St. John's
The team continued their food drive tour with the St. John's Food for the Poor Program in Worcester.
The Food for the Poor Program at St. Francis Xavier Center is a nonprofit charitable organization, where volunteers serve up to 1000 hot nutritious meals a day, five days a week. Their 'not-so-typical soup kitchen' operates 52 weeks a year serving a wide variety of those in need.
