COMPLETE LIST

BOSTON - Northeastern's Jordan Roland was picked as the 25th-best player in the country in an article on ESPN.com today through one month of the season. Roland, a native of Syracuse, N.Y., ranks second in the country by scoring 25.0 points per game.

Roland is the only CAA player to earn recognition on the team and is just 1 of 3 mid-major players to earn a spot on the list, joining Dayton's Obi Toppin and Butler's Kamar Baldwin. The fifth-year senior is shooting 64 percent from 2-point range and 46 percent from behind the arc.

After reaching 1,000 points in his career against Maine with 28 points, Roland followed that performance up with 24 against Davidson. He has six games of 20 points or more this season over 10 games, and broke the single-game school record with 42 against Harvard in the home opener.

Roland and the Huskies will travel to Detroit to take on Eastern Michigan (Dec. 17) and Detroit Mercy (Dec. 19) next week. The Eagles are off to an 8-1 start to the season and Roland will go head-to-head with the nation's fifth-leading scorer, Detroit's Antoine Davis (24.1 ppg) next Thursday night.
