NEW YORK, NY - The Northeastern varsity was in fourth after 1000 meters, but rallied to pass UMass and Navy en route to a second-place finish behind host Columbia on April 21 at Orchard Beach Lagoon in New York. Columbia won with a time of 6:41.3, with NU next at 6:45.0, followed by Navy (6:46.3) and UMass (6:46.4). The second varsity was third behind UMass and Navy, but ahead of Columbia. The novice boat came in second to Columbia. Next up, NU will battle rival Boston University on April 28.
