BC downs NU, 11-2

The Huskies took on Boston College for the second time this season and once again the Eagles came away winners this time 11-2. The Huskies bats struggled to get going only putting together 8 hits, 3 of which came in the first three innings.

In the bottom of the first the Huskies were able to load the bases but were unable to get a run across after getting doubled-up by a spectacular diving catch at short.

The Eagles got on the board in the second inning putting up three runs. Bashara would have to leave in the game in the second with an injury and JT Ross would come in relief.

The Eagles bats would continue to be strong and the Huskies bats continued their rough afternoon. BC added four runs in the fourth and another one in each the fifth and sixth innings.

The Huskies would threaten in the eighth but once again could not get a run all the way across.

In the top of the ninth the Huskies got two runs across when David Gustafson hit a two run double scoring Jeff Dunlap and Chris Guillemette.

The Huskies are back in action this Friday at 2 p.m. when they face William & Mary. Husky fans are encouraged to check GoNU.com because of the possible weather.
