Women's Results
The Northeastern women's cross country team captured 24th place out of 39 squads at the 2010 NCAA Cross Country Regional Championship at Hammonaset Park in Madison, Conn.
Senior
Kristen Martin directed the Huskies in the 6K season finale with a 97th-place mark of 22:06.5. The Dracut, Mass. native concluded her NU cross country career led Northeastern for the fourth time this fall after earning All-CAA laurels at the conference championship a couple weeks ago.
Classmate
Seri Gordon crossed the 6K jaunt in 22:24.8, good for 117th place while junior
Meegan Joly was clocked in 22:42.5 for 138th.
Rookie
Lauren Wardwell finished her first NCAA Regional Championship with a time of 23:44.8 for 188th while third-year harrier
Jessica Barton kicked out a time of 23:45.4 for 189th place.
The Huskies conclude their 2010 cross country season and will now shift their focus to the indoor season. Northeastern will host the 2nd annual Jay Carisella Track & Field Invitational on Friday, Dec. 4 at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center.
