A late rally from Northeastern fell a few runs short as the Bowling Green Falcons took down the Huskies, 13-9, in Auburndale, Fla.

Andrew Leenhouts. The Huskies struck back, scoring two of their own runs by smacking four hits in the inning.
Northeastern took the lead in the third inning, scoring two more runs by capitalizing on a throwing error and adding one on
Jason Roth's RBI single.
The game tilted away from NU after the teams traded ties and one-run leads until the seventh inning. With the Huskies ahead 7-6 by virtue of a two-RBI single from Pastyrnak, Bowling Green posted four runs in the top of the seventh to go up 10-7. Pastyrnak knocked in another run to make the score 10-8, but Bowling Green kept pouring on runs, scoring two in the eighth and one in the ninth.

Matt Miller sacrifice fly fell short as the Huskies ended the game with runners on base.
Northeastern gets a week-long break after playing eight games in nine days. Next up for the Huskies is a trip to Philadelphia to take on St. Joseph's, Temple and Villanova.
